Deny: reasons to pay nothing
A denial letter isn't the final word. It's the insurer's opening position.

| What they say | How we respond |
|---|---|
| "Our driver wasn't at fault." | Police report, photos, witnesses, video, vehicle damage, and sometimes a reconstruction expert. |
| "You were partly at fault." | In Georgia you can still recover if you were less at fault than the other driver, reduced by your share. |
| "Your injury was pre-existing." | Records before and after the crash showing what changed. |
| "There was a gap in treatment." | Explaining why: no insurance, no transportation, work, childcare. |
| "It was a minor impact." | Low vehicle damage doesn't mean low injury. The medical evidence matters. |
Ask for the denial in writing
If an insurer denies your claim, ask for the reason in writing. It locks in their position and helps show if it changes later.
Your own insurance can deny too
Claims under your own policy, like uninsured motorist (UM) or MedPay, can be denied or delayed. Different Georgia rules can apply to your own insurer.
